150th | Church of the Good Shepherd

Sesquicentennial Celebrations

Thank you to all who helped with the 150th Celebration, May 19th.

The Easter Lessons and Carols was stunning and the perfect way to celebrate the 150 years that God has blessed, guided, and protected his Church of the Good Shepherd. The party that followed in the churchyard was simply lovely, pleasant with an affection for fellow parishioners and our parish that was palpable.

Many thanks to:

Celebration leaders Carol Palmer and Kathryn Walker, assisted by hard working Lee Ash, Carol Robertson, Fred Palmer, Dan Walker, and Camilla Davis.

Flowers by Montie Knapp, Lynda Blanchard, and Phyllis Strozier.

Altar Flowers by Beth Jones

Music by Jim Nord and the Good Shepherd Choir.

The second celebration is Saturday, October 5th, 4:00 – 6:30 pm at the Flowing Wells Road Campus. This is a free event for the whole parish family of all ages. Buses will shuttle those who wish to park at Good Shepherd to the newly opened campus. More about this event as details are finalized.
