lentholyweek | Church of the Good Shepherd

Lenten Christian Formation Offerings:

  • Just Mercy: The Diocese of Georgia recommends the book Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson for a Lenten study. In his book, Stevenson describes his early career as an Alabama lawyer and the cases that led him to found the Equal Justice Initiative. The Church Development Institute Team of Good Shepherd will facilitate a discussion group to read the book together. We hope that this book will spark interesting talk about America’s criminal justice system in the context of our journey of faith.  Each person will need to purchase a copy of the book. We will meet at a new time 9:00 a.m. on four Sundays beginning on March 10. Please join us in the Conference Room from 9-10am, March 10, 17, 24, and 31.
